The school session is in accordance with Punjab School Education Board, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali. The school observe the academic session every year form April to March.

School Rules and Discipline :-

• The school day commences with assembly where the staff and students are expected to be present.
• On all school days, the school uniform is to be worn.
• Running, shouting and whistling inside and outside the premises is not allowed.
• No student is allowed to leave the school during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
• Habitual idleness, irregular attendance, disobedience is sufficient reason for expulsion of a student.
• Care must be taken of the shool property. No student should spoil the desks, chairs, or any other furniture etc.
• No responsibility is taken for the goods or money lost. Valuable articles should not be brought to the school.
• Take pride in keeping the school clean. Waste paper or other rubbish is to be thrown in bins provided for.
• Students should observe polite behaviour in speech and manner at all times. They should greet their teachers when they meet them.
• The school reserves to itself the right to expel students whose diligence or progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
• Parents and Guardians should not visit their wards or teachers in the classroom without the permission of the principal.
• Students should not be found roaming in groups during class hours.
• All the students must speak in English within the class and school premises. English conversation as far as possible, should be maintained at home.
• Students must remain disciplined in and outside the class and even in the transport.
• Jewellery & Make-up is not permissible.
• Electronic gadgets/mobile phones if found with a student will be confiscated.
• Kindly ensure that your child does not bring comics/periodicals or any such material which does not pertain to his/her academics.

•  Leave of absence is not granted except for serious reasons and only on a permission with written application of parents and guardians.
• If a student is absent without permission he/she will be fined Rs. 10/- per day.
•  School attendance is a must during school functions. Leave will be granted to any student.

• o Students having any infectious disease will not be allowed to attend the school unless they bring a doctor's certificate stating that the period of quarantine is over.

•  No pupil shall absent himself/herself from the class without obtaining prior permission of the class teacher. If the permission cannot be sought on grounds of health or unforeseen circumstances, an application of leave should be sent to the class teacher, not later than the following day.
•  Irregularity on the part of a student will be severely dealt with by the Principal on the report from the class teacher.
•  No student shall be eligible for promotion unless he/she puts in an attendance of 80% of the total number of working days of the school in the whole year.
• After a long absence of 6 working days by a student (without intimation), his/her name will be struck off from the school rolls and he/she may be readmitted only at the discretion of the Principal.
